Ryan "ryno" Nicholson: Listening Booth

Symphony (Album - Dream)

One night i was sitting in my old studio (Back in AZ) and came up with this really cool riff and thought....man, i really need to put some lyrics to this.....so a few weeks later, i sat down (very late...about 2 a.m) in my dark room and starting playing this song...then the lyrics followed...it's one of those songs where the lyrics flow out of you and you can't write them down fast enough...

i think the main message of this song is to relay the fact that people lose everyday and are still very successful in life. success isn't about money but rather you learned something from your failures....without failing, we'll never grow.....am i saying go out and do stupid things and fail at life? of course not....but do pursue things you're passionate about...even if it means there's a possibility of failing....besides...you'll never know if you don't try right? love ryno
We roll around haunted on this stone, we move a rock to find a mountain left to overcome.

It started out, no shoes on our feet, we felt completely bald and bare only a belly to feed.

Has your Symphony gone cold?
Our strings will break but we gotta play on.

It's O.K. to Lose and Learn
It's O.K. to Live and Learn

Are summer winds blowing against your plans? A simple man can feast one year and the next...starve again.

A winter storm may hold you down and out, forget about complaining or the next...you'll freeze with doubt. Will you freeze with doubt?

Has your Symphony gone cold?
Our strings will break but we gotta play on.

It's O.K. to Lose and Learn
It's O.K. to Live and Learn
It's O.K. to Love and Learn

Hold your ground, hang in there, hold on tight...cause like a ride it's bumpy and at times you're sailing fine.

If we don't care then who is left to blame? It's all the same until our number's up to leave the game. How will you leave the game?

Has your Symphony gone cold?

It's O.K. to Lose and Learn
It's O.K. to Live and Learn
