Believe it or not, but I just started taking some piano lessons and while I should have been practicing the stuff in the books well, i got a little bored and found this riff......then automatically came this beautiful melody that I knew deserved a great marriage of lyrics....well...i had spoken that week with a great friend of mine about what was goin' on in the world, and he said something that spoke to me. He said it seems like there's a lot of people out there that are asleep...and afraid to live.....needless to say, I see it too and see that people are searching for a greater meaning in their lives but through the struggles and strifes keep getting knocked down....i've been there...and there are days where even I feel like "what's goin' on" ;-)....so this is my song to the world of people out searching for something greater and who have been scared by life.....it's through our scars that we grow...it's through asking questions about our life that we grow...opening up to our hearts desires and not letting the past direct our future....
